Also known for her roles in films which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack is the daughter of a therapist, and owner of an ice cream store. Her family is a family that is not entertainment-based. After her parents divorced in 1990, she was enrolled at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and graduated with a BA in Comparative Arts. In the early years of her career, she was only 12 when performed on stage in the opera 'Amahl's Night Visitors'. The actress continued to perform in the theatre, and eventually landed roles both on large and small screens. The versatility of McCormack is well-known today. Married to producer cum director Michael Morris, she has three daughters.
